All Instagram account types (individual, Creator, and Business) can publish effects to Instagram.
To publish effects to Instagram, you need to have your Instagram accounts linked to a Facebook profile or Page that will manage the effect (an effect owner). This allows you to choose the Instagram accounts whose followers will be able to discover the effect, and can also give multiple people access to the effect's settings.
Use these guidelines to:
The effect owner is the Facebook profile or Page that will manage the effect.
The Instagram account linked to that Facebook profile or Page will determine 2 things:
If you just have one Instagram account and a Facebook profile, it's simple to get set up. You can link your Instagram account to your Facebook profile by following these instructions.
This will allow you to use your Facebook profile to manage the effect, and choose the Instagram account whose followers will be able to discover the effect. You can only connect one Facebook profile to each Instagram account.
You'll need to refresh Spark Hub after you link your Instagram account.
You can convert your personal Instagram account to a 'Creator Account' or 'Business Account' for additional insights about followers and posts.
All effects published from Business Accounts are considered promotional. Effects published from personal and Creator Accounts will also be considered promotional if the accounts are for a brand or product, or if the account represents a group of people (like a band or sports team). See here for more detail on promotional accounts and effects.
There are three ways you can link an Instagram account to the effect owner, depending on how many Instagram accounts or Pages you manage.
Please note that you will need to refresh the Camera Effects Platform after you link your Instagram accounts.

If you have a Facebook Page that you want to use to manage your effects, you can link your Instagram account to it. This way all the Page admins and editors will be able to access the effect's settings. Note that you can only link an Instagram account to one Page.
You'll be able to distribute an effect to the followers of multiple Instagram accounts linked to Pages you're an admin or editor of:
Another way to link multiple Instagram accounts is to add them all to the same business with Business Manager. This will allow multiple people to manage the effect's settings, as well as allow you to distribute an effect to the followers of multiple Instagram accounts linked to your business.
Read how to use Business Manager to link multiple Instagram accounts.
Followers of the Instagram accounts you select will be able to see your effect when browsing in the Instagram camera.
If someone shares a story using your effect, a “Try It” button will be displayed on the story. Anyone can try the effect by clicking the “Try It” button, not just the followers of the account.
