Textures and Materials

Use textures and materials to define how the surface of objects look in your effects.

Textures define detail, texture and color. Materials control how a texture is used - for example, how reflective or opaque a texture is.

You can also use the Patch Editor to create more complex effects with visual shaders, and create 2D animated effects using texture sequences and particle systems.
