Chaining 6 blend patches doesn't work on Iphone but works on Android

I have an effect which I chained 6 textures with blend patches into 1 material. By doing so, it somehow stopped my script with UI picker from working properly on Iphone but not on Android. I understand that we can only chain up to 8 blend patches, so I am not sure what is the difference between Iphone and Android that caused this bug.
