Metrics are only available for effects that have been published by a Facebook Page. Learn more about how to create a Page to publish your effects in our Help Centre.
You'll need to wait a few hours after an effect goes live to start seeing analytics.
Breakdowns for impressions won't be visible until their event count exceeds 100.
If your effect hasn't reached these counts, the breakdown will be displayed as Unknown.
For location targeted effects, impressions, captures or shares won't be visible until their event count exceeds 20.
To see metrics for effects you've uploaded to the Camera:
The metrics don't currently include impressions of effects used in Live videos or direct messages.
Impressions is the number of times an effect was shown on screen. This includes when an effect is shown while someone is trying it out in the Camera, and when the effect is displayed in a shared story or post.
Breakdowns shows a breakdown of impressions by channel. You can see the number of times an effect was shown in the Facebook Camera, in News Feed posts, and in Facebook Stories.
The number of times someone captured a photo or video that used your effect.
The number of times someone shared a photo or video that used your effect. Shares can be a story or a post.
